• Phantom Canyon is not only the oldest brewpub in Colorado Springs, but one of the largest restaurants in the metro-downtown area. The building consists of three floors: the main restaurant on the first floor, the second floor Billiards Hall featuring an outdoor patio, and the Third Floor Events Hall. My job is to oversee all private events booked in the building.


    Over the course of each year, my team and I host over 600 events and I personally oversee over 400 client accounts. My day-to-day role consists of supervising account management for each event, generating sales leads for the event space, scheduling the events team, and developing marketing opportunities to continue increasing sales and brand awareness. In my first two years, I doubled event sales by focusing on lead generation, event execution, and client management.

    Event Sales

    Increased from $675k to $1.37 million in two years

    I manage all event sales, event logistics, and client accounts for Phantom Canyon. A huge part of my role is ensuring that all leads are responded to within 24 hours as well as providing continued assistance to existing clients.


    I work every day to foster client relationships, manage event specifics and capitalize on marketing opportunities to help my department grow. Each year, I host various open houses and networking events for local businesses and existing clients to better showcase Phantom Canyon's offerings and help grow with new sales.

    Phantom Canyon Events

    When I first started in this position, there were no marketing or branding materials for events. I made it my responsibility to build a marketing strategy with short-term and long-term goals, not only for my team, but also for Phantom's entire event organization.


    We created updated marketing materials and brand assets, defined lucrative target markets and executed marketing campaigns to acquire new clients and increase brand awareness.

    Immersive Experiences

    Corporate Enterprise Client Event

    My team and I transformed our entire building into a fully immersive Halloween experience. On the day of the event, I managed a 30-person team and oversaw logistics, guest arrival and egress, capacities, food setup, guest flow, decor setup, and staffing.


    This immersive event was for a corporate enterprise client and had over 600 guests in attendance. I collaborated with their internal team to create three themed spaces that seamlessly flowed together while each offered specific experiences in a different immersive atmosphere.

    Day-to-Day Event Management

    Event Concept to Execution

    Every event that Phantom Canyon hosts has different goals and objectives. I am responsible for working with each client to iron out the details of their event and ensure their overall event goals are met.


    I work with clients daily to organize every small detail--from their floor plan to their centerpiece design. This includes menu and bar selections, setup needs, and staffing. My day-to-day management style successfully executes each event and gives our clients and their guests a memorable and worry-free experience.
